2. Account Registration, Security & Consents
- Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age (or have the consent of a parent/legal guardian) to create an account, verify a worker profile, or participate in the referral/withdrawal program.
- Information Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration, KYC submission, or worker profiling, and to keep your profile updated.
- Identity Verification Consent: By requesting worker verification or submitting KYC details for withdrawals, you explicitly consent to the transmission of your Aadhaar number, PAN number, name, and date of birth to our third-party verification partner, apitxt.com, for real-time validation against government databases (UIDAI and NSDL). You represent that all documents and numbers submitted are authentic.
- Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (OTP logins) and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.
3. User Categories and Responsibilities
A. Residents
Residents use the app to authorize visitors to their specific household. You agree to utilize the App solely for authentic security clearances. You must not falsely approve unauthorized individuals or abuse the real-time notification system.
B. Visitors
Visitors include delivery agents, guests, and service providers. Visitors must provide true, accurate, and current identification details (name, phone number, and photo) at the security gate. You agree to adhere to the housing society's internal rules, guidelines, and physical access limitations.
C. Housing Societies & Administrators
Administrators manage the community profile. They are responsible for verifying the residency claims of users before approving resident accounts. Administrators must handle community logs and user list data in compliance with local privacy laws (e.g., India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023).
D. Domestic Workers (Members)
Workers include maids, drivers, cooks, and daily service providers. Workers must consent to OTP-based Aadhaar validation and PAN checks. They agree to allow the generation and physical/digital display of their Digital Trust Card for society entry logs.
E. Home Owners
Home Owners are registered owners or tenants managing their flat access. Owners agree to link their profiles using verified phone numbers, pay the mandatory annual membership fee (where applicable), and ensure their daily workers are verified via the in-app flow.
4. Domestic Worker (Member) Verification & Digital Trust Cards
TrustSaathi provides a government ID verification service for daily domestic staff, facilitating safety in gated societies.
- Verification Process: Verification is a 2-step process completed via apitxt.com:
- Step 1: Verification of the worker's PAN Card number.
- Step 2: Verification of the worker's Aadhaar number via a secure One-Time Password (OTP) sent directly to their UIDAI-registered mobile number.
- Data Storage Restriction: To protect worker privacy, no Aadhaar numbers, PAN numbers, OTPs, or scanned ID images are stored in TrustSaathi's databases or cloud storage buckets. They are processed ephemerally. Only the verification status (verified/failed), full name, date of birth, and profile photo are saved to generate the worker's digital profile.
- Digital Trust Cards: Upon successful verification, a Digital Trust Card is generated. This card acts as a secure digital credential for gate entry. Abuse, sharing, or tampering with a Digital Trust Card will lead to immediate cancellation and a ban from the platform.
- Worker Fees: The one-time registration fee of ₹199 and the annual maintenance fee of ₹99 are strictly non-refundable once the verification process is initiated, regardless of whether the check succeeds or fails.
- Theft, Illegal Conduct, and Sharing of Verification/Father Details:
- The Services provided by TrustSaathi are for safety record-keeping and administrative facilitation purposes only. The Company does not assume any liability for the personal conduct, actions, errors, omissions, or any crime (such as theft, fraud, damage, or assault) committed by a registered domestic worker at a resident's or owner's premises.
- In the event of suspected theft or illegal activity, if the resident/owner requests details of the worker and their father (including verified name, phone number, and verification status) to initiate legal action or file a police complaint (FIR), the resident/owner must email a copy of the police report or FIR to supporttrustsaashi@gmail.com.
- Upon receipt of a valid request with police documentation, or upon official notice from law enforcement agencies, the Company will release the worker's verified details and their father's verified name, phone number, and verification status to facilitate legal investigations.
5. Home Owner Plans & Memberships
- Subscription Terms: Home Owners must maintain an active annual membership plan to access advanced flat management and worker association features.
- Membership Fees: The membership fee is ₹199 for 12 months. This fee is automatically deducted from your wallet balance upon subscribing and is non-refundable. No prorated refunds are issued for cancellations mid-cycle.
6. Referral Earn Program Terms
TrustSaathi operates a Referral program where users can earn rewards for inviting new users to the platform.
- Eligible Referrals: Rewards are credited only when a new user signs up using your unique referral code, successfully registers their flat or worker profile, and completes their verification or subscription payment.
- Invite Restrictions: You must not engage in spam, send unsolicited messages, or create fake accounts/duplicate profiles to exploit the referral system. Self-referrals (referring your own alternate numbers or devices) are strictly prohibited.
- Audit and Clawbacks: The Developer reserves the right to review and audit all referral activities. If fraudulent referral credits are detected, we reserve the right to freeze the account, cancel pending payout requests, and claw back/deduct earnings from your wallet balance.
7. Prepaid & Earned Wallet Policies
The app contains a digital ledger wallet system split into two distinct balances:
- Deposit Wallet (Prepaid):
- Holds funds added by the user using third-party payment gateways (e.g., Razorpay).
- These credits can solely be used for purchasing services within the TrustSaathi app, such as paying society subscriptions, resident memberships, flat links, or initiating worker verifications.
- Deposit Wallet balances are strictly non-withdrawable to bank accounts, non-transferable between users, and non-refundable.
- Earned Wallet (Referral Balance):
- Holds reward credits earned via the Refer & Earn program.
- Earned Wallet balances **can be withdrawn** to your verified bank account or UPI ID subject to the rules in Section 8.
8. Withdrawal Rules, KYC & Tax Compliance
⚠️ Important for Earned Wallet Payouts: To prevent money laundering and comply with Indian tax regulations, all withdrawal requests are subject to strict identity verification and tax deductions. Deducted TDS is deposited with the Income Tax Department, and you will receive the net 90% amount in your bank account.
- Minimum Limit: You may request a withdrawal only when your Earned Wallet balance is ₹100 or higher.
- KYC Verification: Prior to your first withdrawal, you must complete the KYC flow. This requires submitting your Alternate Phone, Alternate UPI ID (or primary UPI ID), Full Address, and PAN Card number. PAN validation is processed in real time via apitxt.com.
- Name-Matching Requirement: The legal name retrieved from your PAN Card during KYC verification must match the name of the beneficiary bank account holder/UPI ID owner. Payouts to mismatched bank accounts/UPI IDs will be auto-rejected to prevent fraud.
- 10% TDS Deduction: As per Section 194R (or other applicable provisions) of the Income Tax Act, 1961 of India, a mandatory 10% Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) will be deducted from all withdrawal payouts. TrustSaathi will deposit this amount to the credit of the user's PAN card and file the necessary TDS returns. You can claim this credit in your annual Form 26AS.
- Processing Time: Approved withdrawal requests are executed via manual UPI bank transfers within 3 to 5 business days from the date of submission. We are not responsible for delays caused by banking networks or incorrect UPI IDs provided by you.
9. Third-Party Service Integrations
TrustSaathi integrates with third-party service providers to deliver database hosting, identity verification, and payment processing. By using our services, you also agree to be bound by the terms of these third parties:
